Wanted this style of lamp but I didn't want to spend a fortune if I didn't like it. This one fit the bill, perfect size, perfect color. I wish it had a remote, but it's not a big deal. It looks really nice in our room. The lightbulb that came with it was too bright because it shines down right into your eyes so we put in a lower wattage.
