Surprised how good it works
I have started baking sourdough this year and use my KitchenAid tilthead mixer. I was able to mix small quantities, because the dough would ride up the hook. I had already switched the hook for a better model (without the flange) designed by a local Dutch enthousiast. But i still had to clean the tilt head thoroughly. Last week I tried the Kneadace on this custom hook, which luckily fit like a glove (i did measure before buying). I immediately went for a larger batch of dough, for 2 decent loafs. The Kneadace came through! The dough climbed up the hook, hit the shield and rolled off again. Done are the days of kneading by hand.

I have the large mixing bowl and it fits as if it belongs on a 5 inch. It is definitely not made for the sixth or the 7th inch KitchenAid mixer too small.
