Smart Golf "Dot" is a wearable playing aid that, unlike many of today's over-engineered GPS gadgets, is designed elegantly to offer simple user experience and minimize distraction during play. When separated from its magnetic clip, Smart Golf instantly displays the remaining distance to the hole. Paired via Bluetooth to your smartphone running the Smart Golf app, the device uses the phone's GPS to locate the current golf course and pinpoint the exact coordinate within it automatically. Once paired, there is no need to remove your smartphone from your pocket, bag, or cart - the distance is displayed on the Smart Golf LCD screen. After striking the ball, shake the device 3 times to switch to the shot distance measurement mode. Then go to the ball and check the Smart Golf display to see how far you just hit.
