The unit was delivered in 2 boxes, the console in one and the fireplace insert in the other. Both were packaged and protected really well. FedEx delivered without any issues. The directions were clear. Assembly took 4 hours as there alot of pieces. You also have to take off the front of the fireplace to put the crystals or faux logs in. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and finishes considering the majority of the unit is MDF. There were no damaged or missing parts to the console itself. The BIG negative is how loud the fireplace flame motor is. I expected the heat setting to be noisy as it is essentially a space heater. However, I expected virtually no noise from using the flame setting without heat. Unfortunately, it's loud, with noticeable humming and clanking. Contacting the manufacturer has been frustrating. No answer the first day I called and no business was cited on their voicemail. I emailed after I tried calling to request a replacement fireplace insert be shipped out. I did not get a reply in 24 hours. I called again and the rep who answered did not answer with the name of the company, just "hello." The rep took a few minutes to locate my email. He then advised that he did not handle Walmart sales and that he was forwarding my email accordingly. I did not receive a reply that day. I'm not optimistic at this point. We'll see...
