This fireplace enhances the room as a focal point!
The white trim matches our baseboards. The off white "white" stonework matches our walls. It fits beautifully in the room, both for width and depth. The height is perfect! I LOVE the fact I can have a "fire" going as ambiance, even in the middle of summer, and it doesn't heat up the room. It cozies up the room. Neighbor's response upon seeing the new fireplace: oh, WOW! The room seems larger, since the fireplace seems unobtrusive, while commanding a center of attention at the same time. Looks more like a built in than a separate piece of furniture. The quality was better than I anticipated. Caveats to all: be careful the screws are properly lined up and not over tightened, else you'll crack into the wood. This required about 5 6 hours to assemble, since there are many screws and parts. It takes two people to hold the sections together and move the piece.
