EZARC Reciprocating Saw Blades 6 Inch, Bi-Metal Demolition Sabre Saw Blade Set for Metal and Wood Cutting (12 Pack)

Great for the price. Just what I need for my project

I use a reciprocating saw (commonly known as a Sawzall) for most of my cutting tasks, both wood and metal. I rarely need to resort to a hand saw anymore. Tools will only do well with a good quality bit or blade. I was pleased with this set of 12 bi-metal and standard chrome-vanadium (Cr-V) steel sawzall blades. They should fit any standard reciprocating saw. Picture 1 shows the set of 12 blades that include: 4 each 6inch 6 TPI for Wood/Brush ?CBlades made of Cr-V Steel 2 each 6 inch 6 TPI for Wood containing Nails -Blades made of BiMetal Steel 2 each 6 inch 10 TPI for Wood w/Nails and Metal Cutting -Blades made of BiMetal Steel 2 each 6 inch 14 TPI for Metal Cutting -Blades made of BiMetal Steel 2 each 6 inch 18 TPI for Metal Cutting -Blades made of BiMetal Steel There is also a plastic tube to hold the blades that can be seen in the first picture. These are an excellent choice to cut wood, nail embedded wood (the BiMetal wood blades) and soft steel/metal (i.e. not SS or cast iron) for the BiMetal Metal Cutting blades. BiMetal blades are tougher than Cr-V Blades and best for endurance, wear resistance and use on most metals. For top cutting ability and longevity at a much higher cost I recommend Tungsten Carbide Tipped blades, which these are not. I tried these out using my Milwaukee Hackzall (a superb tool BTW) and was very pleased with the blades. Pictures 3&4 show me slicing a 1/4 inch thick mild steel plate. The blade I used showed no wear and cut well, proving proper BiMetal alloy steel. (Picture 5). I Recommend this EZARC Brand Reciprocating Saw Blades 6 Inch, Bi-Metal Demolition Blade 12 Pack Set.
