I have COPD and I have alot of phlegm in my lungs and Upper Respiratory System. Without Mucinex I would suffer every single Day. Mucinex (with 8-12 oz of Water) breaks up Phlegm and Loosens it so it is a product that I have counted on for Decades. I highly recommend anyone with COPD who has issues with Phlegm production to buy the product and drink a Bottle of Water with the Pillow. Mucinex (with water) breaks up the phlegm so that it does not Congest your Lungs and Upper Respiratory System. I take a Mucinex with a Bottle of Water about 30 Minutes before my Bedtime because without it I will not have a restful sleep. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Have used it for years with Zero side effects. Mucinex time-release guaifenesin tablets are amazing! The guaifenesin ingredient thins mucus and so relieves your sinus and chest congestion. This particular product only has 600 mg so I take 2 if my congestion is really bad. There is also another formulation with 1200 mg. And there are cheaper off-brand versions that work just as well. Just make sure they actually are identical.
