Nectars de Bourgogne was born in 2004, in the midst of black and red currant orchards, and a beautiful vineyard.A "Pur Jus" (pure juice) comes from fruit that has been pressed (grapes, apples) or which is refined and that is offered without the addition of water or sugar. A "Nectar" comes from fruit that has been pressed (blackcurrants, raspberries, redcurrants...) or which is refined in order to obtain a pulp (peaches, apricots...): the juice (often too acid and too astringent) or the pulp (too thick) to which is added the quantity of water necessary for dilution and sugar in order to re-establish the required sugar/acid balance.It can be noted however that a pure juice may be sweeter than a nectar, for if the nectar is the result of a "recipe", pure juice mainly depends on "Dame Nature"!
