Every grumpy monkey book is a hit with my 4 year old grandaughter. I got her the Jimpanzee plushie and he sits on her lap while we read. Jim is a relatable character and there are accidental lessons for both kids and adults, all wrapped up in an amusing, entertaining short story with fun pictures in a nice sturdy board book that will last!

We all have grumpy days.

This wasn't the first book I bought of this line. I bought this for my 5 year old grandson who loves to read. He actually brought The Grumpy Monkey to daycare to read to his class. So I gave him this for Easter and we had to read it right away. The best part was that he snuggled up to me and he read and I helped him sound out some of the bigger words. To me, that is priceless. We enjoy the humor of this grumpy monkey!!!
