Before partial knee replacement %26 for sure after, it helped me when I first learned to walk again, over walk, %26 when I reached each of my goals...walk down %26 up 15 steps to my apt, drive, %26 walk the tarmac mile on Base with my service dog. It was there especially at nite before bed. Softened the scar after it was closed so it healed much faster %26 enabled me to bend my knee from 83% to 108% by the 2nd week. Understand, I am one of the few to start walking the 2nd day of surgery without pain meds or using a walker or cane. I walked the steps when brought home from hospital. As soon as I was told I could put lotion on my scar, I reached for Aspercream. Numbs it after a long day while keeping the scar soft %26 pliable for bending. Helped me sleep with less pain. Won't use anything else. It keeps it's word for what it offers.
