The size of the bottle makes it a worthwhile investment. The aroma of this tea tree oil not overwhelming. I use this on or in everything from a carrier oil in my shampoo, or conditioner, for bug bites, burns, pimples, etc. for me personally I have had no negative reaction from it at all. I make sure to always keep a 4oz bottle on hand.
