My dog only chews it when she is enjoying quiet time. But she's had it for quite awhile and seems to enjoy exercising her jaws while gnawing on it. The only drawback that I can see are the fuzzies that get stuck on the end where she chews, of course I pick it off, but I wish there was a way to eliminate the rough ends that it attaches to.

I have bought these bones before. I still have some that have lasted for a couple of years. They have put "100 percent real chicken into this durable chew." My dog likes it. I could hardly get the package open before he was into it. It is a medium size like my medium dog.But I think a large dog could handle it.
