Surprisingly Powerful

After much nagging, my boss finally purchased the 2 cycle model and let me tell you, this thing is a beast. Was able to go through concrete and asphalt with little effort. No more taking 10 minutes to get 1 stake in pavement. No more sore arms and hands. Was unsure how to would perform compared to competitors worth 2-3 times more, but its 100% worth it

Great machine for a reasonable price!

I love it. It took me a while to learn its quirks. It did not start instantly. I understand it was probably sitting in a warehouse for a month before it was needed. So you need some start up time. I don't quite understand how the motor works yet. Sometimes it would cut off on its own and other times it would cut off because it got too hot. Open up gas tank to find nothibg wrong with it, as per troubleshooting in the manual. When we did that it started right up again so maybe there's a buildup of fumes? On the video the gentleman was driving soft smooth Stakes into the ground. I have rebar Stakes and it takes a lot of downward pressure. I eventually got used to it but whether I use a hammer or I use Thor it takes a lot out of you. I was breathing heavy like I jogged a mile. But, I was not taking any breaks. I eould do 9 in a row. The difference is your right arm isn't completely numb after a couple stakes and you save a great deal of time. This was just my experience. The reason I gave it four stars it's because even with a mask you're standing very close to the engine. And although I had on PPE gear there's no way to prevent yourself from smelling the exerting exhaust unless you're wearing a very expensive mask covering your face and nose and mouth. I drove 42 stakes in the ground in about an hour and a half. I managed to do 12 or so in a row with one person holding it at the bottom to prevent the stake from tilting. Overall I'm very pleased with this product. I just hope it lasts. I treat it with kindness.
