DRIVE [DVD] [CANADIAN]

Drive is a good movie with a very linear storyline and much conservative cinematography and acting. The movie is certainly not of Award calibre, still a good action drama. Casting is good. It is of the same vein as Taxi Driver, but lacking the intensity. The cold and dark ambiance never reach the point of creating a true thrilling feeling and seems to be more an influence of the Danish's director background and experience than a designed artistic component. If you like Drive, you should try Blood Simple, Bullit, The Driver, and the Transporter franchise.
