Brownie Instructions **You'll Need: **1 Bag Kodiak Cakes Mix **2 Eggs (or egg substitute) **1/2 Cup Melted Butter **2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil **2 Tbsp Water **Preheat oven to 350° F. Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl and hand stir until blended. Pour into a greased 9" x 9" pan. Bake for 22-24 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out slightly moist. **Makes 12 brownies. **Alternate Option: **Replace butter and eggs with 1/2 cup more vegetable oil and 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce. **Kodiak Cakes® Pro Tip: **Applesauce, Greek yogurt, or mashed bananas can be substituted for all or part of the butter. **For high-altitude baking (+3,000ft), increase oven temperature by 25° F. **Optional Add-Ins **Peanut Butter Swirl **1/4 cup peanut butter or nut butter of choice **Mint **1 cup chopped mint wafer cookies (about 8 cookies) **Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzel **1 cup mini chopped pretzels, 1/4 cup dark chocolate chunks **Cream Cheese Swirl **8oz softened cream cheese, 2 Tbsp brown or natural sugar **Coconut Almond **1 cup sliced almonds, 1/2 cup shredded coconut, 1/4 cup dark chocolate chunks

10-year old had a friend over and we needed a project. We decided to make a brookie. I took the cookie dough and the kids took the brownie mix and followed the recipe on the box. Easily made and easily baked. Very tasty brownie. A bit of a chuckle highlighting the protein content on the box though as it's not very high. Buy these because they taste great.
