Drain does not work

Poor functional design on drain

My contractor with 30 years of experience cannot get the pull lever for pop up drain to work properly. Extremely poor design and engineering for a faucet in this price range. Ended up having to permanently remove the pull up lever (leaving a hole in the back of the faucet) and purchasing the push pop up drain separately for an additional cost. The reviews on the separate push pop up drain are not great but left with no choice. I recommend not purchasing this. I don't believe I have ever posted a review on line but felt a public service message was necessary for this product.
