Durable and fun!

My dog loves playing with this toy! The material is durable, but soft enough so he doesnt hurt his teeth when catching it. He likes to play tug of war sometimes instead of just giving it back to me, and this toy has proven to be strong enough to stand up to my pitbull's tugging. We would buy again!

Great frisbee

I've got this toy for my dog for her last two birthdays. She loves frisbees, catching them. chasing them, and chewing on them. The problem with the 99c frisbees is that, after a while, they'll break down and start splintering (as with all toys). However, since they're hard plastic, her mouth has gotten cut a few times while catching those frisbees. With this one, though, through to the very end, her mouth was never cut. It flies very well and smooth (doesn't turn mid-air like the 99c frisbees), is quite durable so long as you don't let your dog chew on it (this is a fetch/catch toy; not a chew toy. You'd be better off with a different toy if you want something your dog can chew on), and lasted for about eight months before it finally got worn down enough to have to be thrown away. If it splinters, because your dog chews on it when you're not looking or tugs when giving it back, just take the splinters away and you're good to go. Just bear in mind that this isn't meant to be chewed on. It's durable in terms of a frisbee. Not a chew toy. Overall, my dog absolutely loves it and I'll keep getting them over and over again until she doesn't. If you can go to a physical store, though, I'd suggest a green frisbee over the blue. The green is a lot more flexible, for some reason.

BEST FOR CATCH - Not for chewing or tug of war

THIS IS THE BEST DOG DISC FOR CATCHING PERIOD. My dog is a frisbee/disc catching dynamo. Not fetch... catch. One of the reasons I got a dog in the first place. In her short life we have tried roughly 50 disc products and these (THESE ONLY) are the most durable, consistent, retain their shape, soft rubber so easy of teeth and gums - I can control the throw and trajectory like with a disc golf disc or ultimate frisbee but in a softer rubber... not a chew tow or a tug of war toy - we go through 2 per year... as they will start to split... I'm sure if I let her chew on it or use it as a tug toy it wouldn't last nearly as long. Even so would be better then the hard plastic discs that she simply turns into shards of plastic confetti... Nerf dog discs are not all created equal.. the howler is awful... they have another with a different patter similar to this - great for tug of war and fetch but does not retain shape and difficult to control... sadly walmart is the only one to carry this product and they are all currently out. please restock!!
