This is really a quilted blanket ranther than a pillow, but I knew that when I bought it based on the photos. I'm using one for the floor in the back seat of my supercab truck which is where my dogs ride (the seats flip up, so it's a big space.) It works great for that, and gives a little bit of comfort for napping without being bulky. These will aslo be great a travel mat to throw on the floor to give the pups a place on the floor to lay down when visiting my parents. I can think of a lot of uses for them because they're easy to carry, either roll or fold up. And they should be easy to wash, not too bulky for the washing machine.
