Fluke TIS45 30HZ 30Hz/160x120, Resolution Manual Focus Thermal Imager, (-4 to 662 °F)

Recently we purchased a TiS45 Thermal Imager, for the purpose of mechanical inspections (bearings, Couplings, belts, evaporator coils, etc). This unit was the first Thermal Imager to be used in the plant. Since the purchase we've been able to alter a number of our Predictive Maintenance tasks into Condition Based, which in turn justified the purchase of this unit a number of times over its cost within just six months. We selected this unit (TiS45) in particular for two reasons, the ability to select and set the temperature range, which comes in very hand in Mechanical inspections, and the Manual focus feature which lets us capture crisp images for what's being inspected. The TiS45 has definitely been a worthwhile purchase for our Manufacturing facility, it has a good Cost to Effectiveness balance.
