These weights are a great value. The price is lower than even the bundled products from other websites. The dumbbells don't make noise when they hit each other. A nice bonus is that the handles also contain the same polyurethane product for a soft grip. Good value and good product.

For the price...I really don't think you can beat these. I am beyond pleased! Could you get higher quality? Sure...but come on, look at the price! At first, I could smell them...after about 10 minutes, the smell disapated, and I couldn't smell them at all. The grips are surprisingly nice. I was afraid they might hurt, but neither myself, nor my wife had difficulty with pain from from grip, with heavy weight, or light weight high reps. No complaints! Love them! As a former weightlifter of 15+ years, just trying to get back into the swing of things, I HIGHLY recommend! If you want to start a decent home gym, without having to go to a high priced professional gym, go with these. I bought 5 sets of weights to begin...I am about to order 5 more sets of higher weights!

Smarter dumbbell set

As a female, I was attracted to the colorful dumbbells but changed my mind when I read reviews that they were slippery, dingy or smelly. I finally decided to go with these CAP polyurethane-infused dumbbells. Although they're not colorful, they still have a nice look to them over the plain cast iron ones and they don't smell at all. I also find them comfortable to hold -- a good fit and not slippery. BTW, Walmart had the best price!
