Good in many respects

This anchor worked well on a rocky bottom area. It would release by itself if the wake from passing boats (or waves from the wind) rocked the boat too hard, but mostly it held well. Went for about an hour with boats passing regularly and it didn't move an inch. Seems to really depend on getting a good wedge into the lake floor.

too soon to know but

I have only used it once and do not yet know if it releases from snags by a different angle pull. but it worked great for as lightwieght as it is on ther reservoir

A bit light

We have a 20' bowrider and this is the anchor they recommended. It held only if we snagged something (like a tree). I would recommend getting a heavier anchor if you go to a lake where there is any traffic
