I bought this to wear following a total abdominal hysterectomy and it is amazing! My incision is vertical and this seamless underwear does not chafe or rub my scar. It provides amazing support across my back and belly so that I could ditch the annoying Velcro belly band I received in the hospital. These underwear gave me even better support from the bottom of my scar up over my belly button. The band did not slip or roll although I did have to ensure it was straight and flat when I first pulled them up. I am a size 6 and 5'3" so I knew the Post Op panties designed for this would not fit me and these Maidenform Self Expression ultra firm support panties were perfect. I bought a size M which gave ideal support to my belly which swelled from 34-36" during a day. BEst purchase!!
