Toho's Golden Age

The films in this set,Mothra,The H-Man and Battle in Outer Space were released during what is commonly referred to by Western fans as the Golden Age of Toho.This is the period when the special effects were superb,the story telling was excellent and the movies were just plain fun.Not to say that Toho's future releases weren't as good,but the movies from this period just has a certain magic to them. All films have the option to watch in either the English dubbed version,or the Japanese version with English subtitles.My only problem was that on the "Battle in Outer Space" disc,it seems that the subtitles were based off of the dub.Thankfully with the other two movies,the subtitles were from the original Japanese version and not based off of the dubbing. This set is a must have for any Godzilla fan or anyone who enjoys scifi classics.
