This futon is a Natural Felt original. It is an extremely lush handcrafted futon designed to be used as a bed. Our meticulous attention to detail ensures this futon will provide a sleeping surface conducive to deep undisturbed sleep for years to come.

4 layers of luxurious natural cotton batting that is processed by Natural Felt to exacting standards is then sandwiched between sheets of 1.5 pound density solid HR foam produce an ideal balance of support, comfort and resiliency. The core of this futon is (1) sheet of 2 inch 1.5 pound density HR solid foam. (2) additional sheets of 1 inch 1.5 pound density HR solid foam are layered between cotton above and below. A fluffy layer of Eco-Valley wool is the final layer, which enhances bodily warmth in winter and coolness in summer. All of the materials are protected by a heavy 100% cotton outer shell that features double-stitched seams, we then tuft our futons in order to keep all of the materials in place.

Natural Felt also makes the Eco-Valley wool. We create the batts of wool by blending wool from different sheep breeds. They visit each sheep farmer to assure that the wool comes from healthy sheep, raised sustainably on managed lands. Shearers are paid a premium for the best fleeces from collaborating shepherds, the fleece is then cleaned and carded which produces the finest known woolen batting.
