Good choice for the money

I bought this mid-grade Hamilton Beach food processor to replace a Farberware food processor that broke. On the Farberware, while shredding cheese, a piece got lodged in between the blade and the lid and snapped the plastic post. The same thing happened on the Hamilton Beach, but it did not break. It did a very good job chopping onions, too. If you are looking for big chunks though, watch out! It is very powerful!

Hamilton Beach 10cup food Processor

I had one of these and bought another because I tried another model and didn't like it at all. This has a scraper and a wide chute also ease in the dial for processing but what I really love is, it cleans easily. The blade is so wide and open nothing stick or isn't easily cleaned- no food particles stick or get discolored in the handle because everything is made well with no little holes to fill up with food. This processor has lots of power and shreds mixed everything with lots of room in the bowl. The other Hamilton Beach I bought was hard to get the lid on and off, the blade was small and not easy to clean. I hope they continue with this model, it's a fantastic processor and the price is very reasonable.

I couldn't wait for the arrival of my food processor. I've never owned one and waited until now to purchase one. Man, have I wasted a lot of time using a blender. This food processor was so easy to clean up and use. And not to mention super fast. I was finished in half the time. This was a great investment and will recommend to everyone. You won't be disappointed.
