Hob - From Ambient - On the stove. Bring 3-1/4 cups of water* and 1 tablespoon butter (optional) to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in Mahatma® Rice Mix. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand about 5 minutes. Stir before serving. *For saucier product, 1 cup cooked each. Microwave - From Ambient - Combine 3-1/4 cups cold water*, 1 tablespoon butter (optional), and contents of Mahatma® Rice Mix in a 3 quart microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 20 minutes. Stir. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. If your microwave does not have variable settings follow your manufacturer's directions. *For saucier product, 1 cup cooked each. Serving suggestion - Slice on six-inch link of sausage into sections and brown in a saucepan. Using the same saucepan, follow top of stove cooking directions. Makes about 4 servings, 1 cup cooked each.
