Bars were boutht b/c I

Bars were boutht b/c I was sick and tired of lifting my kids into my truck. Work, fit and look great on my Silverado 1500. They barely stick out from the side of the truck, and are low enough to be a functioning step for my kids. And the pad is a nice size for their little feet. Bars received in shipping without damage. Instruction were as others noted, pretty useless. The pictures in the directions look like they have been photocopied about 1000 times, and we couldnt tell which bracket was for which side. Took about 1/2 hour to figure out the first side, about 10 minutes to complete the second side. Hint: the middle bracket and the rear bracket look the same, the front bracket looks like it faces the opposite direction. That will become obvious if the bar doesnt seem to be fitting right. Overall very pleased with the bars.

Great but need three attachment points!

Ford ones I took off were good quality but wanted wheel to wheel to access bed of pickup so bought these. These look great but give a little too much when u step on them because they have only two attachment points instead of three like the factory Ford ones that were shorter. e. Engineers need to fix this! Good thing I'm a welder because I'm going to beef up the two attachment points with some 1/4 "by 1" strap, and bolt on of course so I won't ruin stainless steel finish! Should send with three attachment points and make them a little beefier!

This is the first set

This is the first set of Nerf bars that I have installed. They went on easy enough, however if the mounting brackets had been marked for location it would have been even easier. They look great and give the truck a more finished look. I would recommend these Nerf bars to anyone.
