I thought long and hard before I made this purchase. I have gone through a lot of shredders over the years that promise to do 8 to 12 pages at a time when it honestly only did three. Granted this was a good bit more expensive but wish I had purchased it a long time ago. This is an excellent machine and does exactly what they said it would do. I haven't actually counted the pages, but I have put in a good bunch of pages at one time and it handled it with no problem. I highly recommend this machine to anyone who is looking for something that actually works, and I believe will last. I am completely pleased that I bought this machine.
