It should have been very easy to assemble, but I'm special and made it hard. Just make sure you have the top of desk lined up with correct amount of holes. I had top of desk screwed to bottom part of desk and it took several hours to figure out why I did not have enough screws. So glad I did not call the shipper You can't go wrong with this purchase.
