got this for my husband along with the grill this I gotten from walmart, for fathers day. well he finally got to put it together and was able to use the grillter and said it was nice becaust it pervert from burning any of the meat on the grill. and he is able to use the on both sides for different meats and fish. so he give it a thumbs up

This is a handy griddle pan. I bought it to use on a camping trip. I used it recently to grill chicken and pork chops in the house. I wasn't sure how or if it would work on my flat surface electric stove top. It worked great! The food had nice grill marks and cooked perfectly. Saved the day since it rained and couldn't grill outside. It held 2 large chicken breasts and 2 large pork chops.

The texture is terrible.

Maybe it's me, but I did not expect the highly textured surface. I don't know what the point of that is, nothing was smooth. It made my smash burgers stick, the pancakes were a disaster. I'm not talking about the grooved side, I didn't even use that side, I used the “smooth” side. I don't even bring it home from our camping trip, tossed it right in the dumpster.
