The driftwood is much darker than it looked in the pictures, and more brown with grey then the grey with a little brown shown. Construction was OK - the instructions don't always show which side the piece needs to be on - but only had to rebuild the headboard once, so not too bad. I was able to instruct the main bed by myself in 2 1/2 hours (there's a tricky bit orienting the locking screws from the headboard into the side rails and need to prop up the side rail to accomplish), the two drawers took another hour.

It is well made and is solid wood. The only thing I didn't like is that there is no protection in the legs of the bed for hardwood floors. It scratched mine before I realized this. š¬
