Great Valu was a hit in my Lasagna sauce

I tried this for a sauce I was making for a lasagna dish. I thought for the price I would be disappointed instead it was great. Turned out just fine and being used with other spices and all the other ingredients you'd never know. Everyone loved the dish and I had NO LEFTOVERS, so that says it all.

I have never had a problem with Great Value products. Always first-class products. With the exception of one thing. The cottage cheese. This cottage cheese did not display near the creaminess of the main-line product. It was dry and water-separated.

My dear husband and I are enjoying an empty nest. We have made the transition from a family of four to a family of two. This sauce is just the right size to make one meal for the two of us. It is pasta sauce without the frills. So I jazz it up by adding browned ground turkey, garlic and onion powder and shaking a little Italian seasoning with a couple pinches of sugar to the sauce and it's like eating Ragu, (besides opening those big jars of pasta sauce takes an act of congress)😞 and I don't have to worry about what to do with the leftovers because there are none. Toss the can in the trash, easy peasy.
