Stop the itch and help heal minor skin irritations and abrasions quickly with this Extra-Strength Anti-Itch Cream. It contains the active ingredients diphenhydramine and zinc acetate, that work fast to block histamine, providing temporary relief of pain and itching. The itching stop cream is suitable for minor cuts and scrapes, sunburn, insect bites and minor skin irritations. It also helps to stop the itch and the oozing and weeping often associated with poison ivy, poison sumac and poison oak. This Extra-Strength Anti-Itch Cream comes in a convenient 1 fl oz tube. This does the job.
I was looking for an anti itch cream that wasn't a hydrocortizone cream to aleviate a severe skin itch that is a side effect of medications I am taking. This has a histamine blocker in it. So far it seems to do the trick but as with any cream it needs frequent re-applications. It does seem to last several hours though.
