Coty nyc cylinder pencil, 0.036 oz

Hello "Makeup Sisters", I have used just about every brand and type of waterproof/smudge-proof eyeliner and this is by far the best one. The retractable kind which have, what is *supposed* to be, a self sharpener included never seem to quite sharpen the pencil to the point it was when I purchased it nor any point at all...making it very difficult to make a think exacting line. Also, while trying to sharpen them, the tip often times breaks making for a very irritating experience not to mention going through the pencil in less than a week because it keeps breaking off. The reason I love this product by N.Y.C. is because it always sharpens to a point without breaking. You can use any brand of pencil sharpener and even though the pencil is not wood, but rather a plastic composite of some type...it sharpens beautifully (better than a lot of wood eye pencils. The color is such a beautiful brown that I am also able to use it as a touch-up pencil on my eyebrows. It goes great with my dark haircolor too because since the pencil is not a flat muted brown like a lot of the waterproof kind of pencil colors or too shiny that it looks funny on eyebrows...I was able to get rid of my other eyebrow pencil which was not waterproof and always tended to wear off or smudge. A little goes a long way with this pencil and it truly does not smudge or smear in water or heat. I live in a climate which is often hot and can be humid at times, my previous eyeliners ALWAYS smeared in the heat or would get on the top of my eyelid (u know what I mean?!) I can even take a shower and it will not come off unless I purposely wash it off. Just thought I would spare some of you the money I have wasted on inferior products. I also love that I don't have to go spend 15..20-30+ bucks @ a Mall *Dept Store* to get a good product (note the ingredients on all the makeups when someone tries to tell you that *those brands* are better bcuz they use better ingredients...speaking from someone who used to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars at those *counters* ;-))!!! OBTW...GREAT for sensitive eyes as well!!! I have really bad seasonal allergies and my eyes often water and itch a lot...and, yes, AGAIN, this product STILL does not smudge or come off into my eyes. Even though is stays on so well it can also be touched up with a damp q-tip also (for example: if you make the line too thick, etc...) Love this eyeliner! Works great. Goes on nice and gives a more dramatic look to your eyes! Can't beat the price either!
