Dr Miracles Feel It Formula Temple & Nape Gro Balm Super, 4 oz

I never vouche for products that I don't feel confident about, but this product did exactly what I needed it to do. I suffered pretty bad traction alopecia around my edges behind the habitual installation of sew-ins, which is unfortunate because I've always had beautiful hair, but I was too lazy to take care of it. Practically bald edges was my consequence for wanting quick and easy, instead of just taking care of my own hair. Either way, I left my hair completely alone and went natural, while I waited patiently for a year to grow my edges back. Absolutely NOTHING happened, and I use some pretty expensive hair care products. I was starting to get discouraged that would work, and just accept the fact that I probably irreversibly damaged my edges. Then, I remembered the old Dr. Miracles formula and decided to give it a shot as a last ditch effort. After all, what did I have to lose? My edges couldn't get any worse, and the best case scenario is that this actually worked. I started using this every night immediately after I got it. I would put it all around my edges in the worst areas, brush it in with a soft bristle brush, apply some more, tied my hair down with a silk scarf, and then put on my bonnet to keep it in place. Let me just say that this didn't work overnight, but then again my edges didn't come out overnight, so this isn't a magic elixir. I didn't this consistently for a month before I saw the results. At this point, I've been through 2 jars of this formula, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The right side of my temple has grown back in completely, the left side (the side that was the worse) is taking a little longer to fill back in completely, and across the front (which was equally as bald as the left side) is growing back in slowly. Make no mistake, all of these areas have come a long way. They are light years ahead of where they were. So far, this is the only thing that has worked for me, so I plan to keep on using it. I am purchasing my 3rd jar as we speak. I would be crazy to discontinue use now. I'll reassess after I finish this jar. I said all of that to say this, it definitely works if you give it a chance. Take my advice first... Please stop abusing your hair. Stop it with the heat, chemicals, bleaching, dying, ridiculously tight hair styles, and alcohol based hair products. Just focus on keeping hair clean and moisturized, which is very important for black women since our hair breaks so easily. Stop it with over-styling and manipulating your hair. Just leave it alone completely! Purchase a removable wig that won't pull your edges if you must, I get wanting to look pretty and feminine. Lay off everything else for a while and treat your edges. You should be fine after a while. You will thank me later!!!!
