Good, cheap and makes great cornmeal mush plus oth
This is a real bargain! My primary use for this cornmeal is to make cornmeal mush in loaf form, refrigerate, then slice and sauté/fry in butter until crispy. Some people enjoy it with maple syrup but I prefer it with just salt and pepper. Of course when I make English Muffin bread, I sprinkle my loaf pans heavily with cornmeal as well as on top of the batter prior to rising. I seldom make cornbread and corn muffins, but I'm certain this would be excellent for that. It also can be used to coat fish prior to frying for a crispy surface. This is sold in a bag so I encase it inside a clear plastic bag and keep it in the freezer so that it remains fresh (I do the same thing with my various flours also).

This product has been difficult for me to find in my area. I enjoy using it weekly to make corn bread from scratch. I also use it to "bread" fish for gluten free results. I like that it is not a mix... like Jiffy... which has too much sugar in it for my taste. I'm glad it doesn't have flour in it as well. Thanks for providing this product for our consumption.
