    My 2 Newfoundlands-Chevy and Truck have been getting a Dental Sheild bone as a bed time snack since they were puppies. They are now just over 7 years old. They have never gotten a bad detal review or have had to have a dental visit at the Vet. They have pearly white teeth, no tartar build up and no bad breath. We love this product. Just wish I could find coupons, if you do the math I go thru a lot of Dental Bones.

    2 1/2 lb and 65 lb dogs love these.

    So far my big drooling dog hasn't slobbered these all over my carpet, like normal rawhide. I just started with these so I do not know about the tarter and plaque (do not know if it meets that expectation), have to ask a vet. I also started brushing the dog's teeth, so I cannot say that these will help with plaque or tarter. I wish my cat would chew on these! When I go back to the vet, I will ask about the tarter and plaque control, it's really the only reason I am buying these. I wish I could find a larger size for the 65 lb dog.
