1. Bring 4 - 6 quarts of water to a rolling boil, add salt to taste.2. Add contents of package to boiling water. Stir gently.3. Return to a boil. For authentic ""al dente"" pasta, boil uncovered, stirring occasionally for 12 minutes. For more tender pasta, boil an additional 1 minute.4. Remove from heat. Drain well.5. Serve immediately with your favorite Barilla pasta sauce.

This pasta maintains it's shape Very well. It has an awesome texture and holds up well to a variety of additional ingredients. Our favorite combination is with portabello mushrooms, green onions, butter and Cajun seasoning. , garnished with Parmesan cheese, fresh green onion, and capers. We just can't seem to buy Barilla Gemelli in our area any more. Barilla pasta is far better than any others.
