HART 40V 155 MPH at 600 CFM Cordless Brushless Axial Leaf Blower Kit, (1) 4.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery

I received this item for the purpose of review. I was very excited to receive this blower as I really like Hart Tools. In general, it's an excellent blower. It came WITH the battery and charger. I did not get a photo of the battery as it is plugged in & charging. My husband loved it right away. We live in the upper Midwest and recently got a measurable amount of snow that was very dry. He used this blower to blow the snow off his car parked in the driveway. It worked very well so he didn't have to use a brush. I used it to blow snow off the deck. Same process. Worked very well & did its job. Made quick work of light snow removal instead of having to blade off with a shovel. Especially blowing the snow right through the spindles of the deck and not having to shovel & lift the snow over. One thing to watch for is how to securely attach the blower tube. There are clips on the side & the tube must click into place. Otherwise, the tube will either fall off or pull right off if you grab the blower by the tube (which I do not recommend anyway). It is sensitive & will pull off even if it's clicked into the clip on either side. Lift by handle only. It's a nice feature tho if the tube needs to be removed for any reason. It has variable speed and, as described, it actually very quiet. It's very well-made and all controls are easy to distinguish and use. The grip handle makes it very easy to lift & carry. It's a little heavier than our other cordless blower but it is very maneuverable. The charger & battery are hefty. It is larger than other our blower too but that's OK. We're very happy with it. It's sleek looking and I love Hart Tools color scheme. I can't wait to use it in Spring when it's time to clear out leftover fall debris in mulch beds and blowing fresh mown grass off sidewalks. This is a pretty slick leaf blower. The 40V system power on this particular model is quite impressive. The ergonomics of this unit are greatly improved over its previous models. While a tad bit heavy due to the battery weight, it is much more balanced and easier to use. Some very cool little editions have been added, such as a trigger lock, so you don't have to constantly hold the power trigger, and while its locked, you can adjust the amount of power/speed it is blowing without having to stop. There is also a power boot button that gives you an additional speed boost for heavier items such as wet leaves. This item has enough power to blow the hair off a bear. Was able to make quick work or clearing leaves, pine needles, and other stuff off the deck and the yard. The engineering team got this one right! Impressive system!
