Instead of using a shopping cart , I just used this basket to put my items in that I was purchasing. My husband used it to when sent him to the market. Easy to collapse and small enough to store.

Although it can be used for picnics, I actually use this in my car to keep smaller grocery items contained in the trunk. There t plenty of space in the tote and the handle is nice for transport. The material of the tote is lightweight but it feels durable, which is good because the tote doesn't add unnecessary weight. You have the option to use the entire space of the tote or use the included divider to create a partition. And when not in use, you can collapse it to store it away.
