It is very easy to ignite. Light the 'wick', put your charcoal chimney over it, fill the chimney, then wait for your charcoal to reach desired level of heat before dumping on your grill! I used to struggle having a suitable kindling for grilling. Not anymore!

These little things are great! I decided to try them out for an out of town trip instead of the usual firestarter logs. These are so much better! I was able to start a fire with wet wood in the middle of an Iowa winter while it was super windy. I am going to recommend these to everyone I can.
