Starts fire quickly

I use one brick per day November to February in Pennsylvania in my fireplace insert and it starts the fire in 10 minutes. I don't use any kindling because it's too much work and doesn't start the fire as fast. I just split some small pieces of firewood with my Fiskar splitter and use one duraflame brick.

I Love These Fire*Starters. These fire starters are great. I use one each time when I want to start a fire in my enclosed stove. They work in fire places as well as campfires. I use hard wood and not much kindling so if I light one of these, the wood will start burning and they are clean and handy just place inside the wood and light.
