I had the original nest, then switched to Arlo and back to Nest 2nd gen. Love it as compared to my Arlo, good picture/video quality, can use it without subscription. smart alerts are helpful compared to my arlo doorebell cam. intergraes well with my google nest displays. Using the Google home app is pretty straightforward as well. the connector for doorbell wires work well, love the hex screw as a security measure on the top works well. better than the pin type with the prior nest or my arlo doorbell.

Super easy to install and integrate with the Google Home app and related devices; I bought it for package detection and it works as advertised; I get a push notification every time a package is dropped of at my door. You need Nest Aware to use this feature but it is $8/month.
