This pot and lid is heavy, a lot of people don't do this but I wash mine, the emportant thing is you have to make sure the whole thing is dry and oiled back up even the bottom and out side, otherwise it will rust.

What a nightmare dealing with KW Trading Corp. The beaker arrived shattered in a flimsy plastic envelope. Getting a refund took three weeks and required me to go through Walmart, rather than from the vendor.
