dvd will not play says not for this region. am i to assume that that means u.s.a.? does not say that on computer on ordering.

The CD I bought took a while to arrive as it originated with an overseas seller. Mailed as it was in a water-tight plastic mailer, the item arrived in its original packing and plays as I expected it would. I didn't know I was buying something from someone overseas. And it's useless and nothing more than a paperweight. People overseas shouldn't sell movies or tv series if they're not able to work to people across the pond. I thought I was buying from Walmart not chalkyuk
