I unfortunately ordered another set before realizing this one was defective. Out of the two lights, only one worked initially (see photos), and by the next morning, even that one had fallen apart and was left hanging from the hook. As shown in the pictures, the black solar component detached from the green metal frame. There appears to be dried white glue on both sides of the solar piece that failed (see photo). The previous set I ordered hasn’t had any issues so far, and I’m hoping the set I’ve already ordered but haven’t received yet will hold up better. Time will tell.

The lights came wrapped up and when i tried to untangle them it took me almost an hour, they were all twisted up and then when i went to hang them up and put the batteries in i noticed there was dried glue inside the battery compartment that was covering parts of the battery compartment and i felt that wasn't safe and that it may be damaged. I also found it weird when i put the batteries in, there is a little green chip inside that i have never seen in other battery operated string lights that was exposed and when i put the batteries in it blinked red for a second then turned off. I was worried for a moment that was a little camera inside there or something. I just feel unsure about the entire thing and kinda just might return them. I think ill stick to purchasing directly from Walmart instead of a third party seller, you never know what you're getting or where its coming from. Also it stated 2 AA batteries but it takes 3.

No problems with seller, no communication required.

Never received the product but could’ve been a shipping issue so not sure who was to blame but was refunded fully so no biggie.
