Shipping took 7 days. Shampoo and Conditioner were opened and leaking. Tops of bottles were taped , but the tape was broken. Am I to believe this is safe to use?

I ordered Aveda Brilliant shampoo and conditioner through Walmart.com The shampoo was a much darker color than usual and did not have the familiar Brilliant scent. I believe the shampoo was improperly stored for an extended period of time or tampered with in some way. The company did not answer my email.
