I purchased these for my granddaughter who is tall for a 7 years old. she is in the perfect size 7/8 with other clothes. however these pants fit as if they were going to be an ankle pants or pre pants or high water pants. so please keep that in mind that these are size closer to a six maybe a seven. but it's definitely not a size 8. so that's the reason why I discounted the stars and only gave it three stars. my grandchild may be able to wear a one or two times because right now she's going through a growth spurt. but overall to look at this is a very cute outfit. my granddaughter got excited and said oh this is going to be my Christmas outfit. so that's how cute it looks. but when I put it on her it's runs very short in the legs.
