I do like the rug. It feels great on your feet. However, if you are going to wash it I suggest using stair attachment carpet cleaner. I washed it in the washer as I have a very large capacity washer. The backing came off and there was a ton of lint and rubber that came off as well. I'm still using it and it looks fine on top but I would have cleaned it differently if I had known.

I bought a few different sheep skin rugs to compare and use at 2 different locations in my home. This one was the most disappointing of the 4 that I bought. The texture is more of a shag rug - not really a "sheepskin" rug that the title suggests. The only way that it is related to being a "sheepskin" rug is that it is in the typical shape that sheepskin rugs come in. It is in the faux style so the rug looks formed. If you're looking for the look and feel of a sheepskin rug, I would steer away from this one as it does not satisfy both. There are equivalently priced ones that offer more of the characteristics traditional to this type of rug.
