Detailed size review.

I am tall and lanky athletic build. True size 33 waist 32 length. I am 6' 1” weighing 175 lbs. I bought medium regular. Plenty of room in the thighs and perfect length being unbloused but will look good bloused. Pretty roomy around waist but with cinch straps adjusted on waist and worn with a belt they are about right for me. Washed on hot cycle 2x and possibly shrunk a little bit. Wouldn't order long size but could downsize in the waist if needed but def wearable. Bought to motorcycle in wanting plenty of legroom for mobility which they def have. Will order more for sure.

Exellent trousers

I bought six pairs of these so far and I highly recommend them. These trousers are durable and I like the adjustment strap on the waist, they seem to be pretty wrinkle-resistant as well. This trouser does run a bit large I have a 32-inch waist and the small regular fits just a little loose so just keep that in mind.

The most comfortable pants.

After buying the 100% cotton BDU pants at my local army surplus store, I decided to order from Propper the 60% cotton 40% polyester pants. Wow what a difference. The 60/40 are much more comfortable and easy to maintain. I was able to wash them and dry them (as per the instructions on the pants) & I was able to wear them right away. I ordered the olive and khaki and the colors are nice and sharp compared to the 100% cotton. I am going to buy a few more in the coming week.

Great price on Durable BDU pants.

Bought these for both myself and my oldest daughter who is an avid outdoorswoman with me. We wear durable BDU pants when when doing work on the deer lease in the summer. I love the battlerip fabric due to it's durability around Briars which are everywhere in southeast Louisiana. I also use them as outdoor work pants, grass cutting, or to wear to the shooting range. I love the old six color desert pattern because that was in use when I was in the service back in the late 80's-early 90's. great outdoor/work pants at a good sale price. They are 65/35 battlerip and some have said a little hotter in the summertime than 100% cotton, but I like the fact they wont fade as fast and are more durable than 100% cotton. To be honest, in southeast louisiana during the summertime it's pretty much HOT no matter what fabric BDU's I wear. So I just go for the durability. When you want certain camo patterns, your usually stuck with the fabric makeup of that color anyway. I own most of the BDU styles that propper makes and I have never bought anything from them that I have been dissatisfied with!!

Nice BDUs, but need button fly

I have worn these 60/40 coyote colored BDU pants for a few months now. I hope Propper reads this. I think these pants are good BDU pants, but these could be made better with the addition of adding a button fly for both the Uniform line of 60/40 and 65/35 BDUs. I wished they made the coyote colored BDU pants in the 65/35 button fly BDU version and the 60/40 BDUs in button fly also. I have a khaki colored 65/35 button fly BDU paints that seem more comfortable in the groin area. Zippers are not the way to go. Your zipper goes out and it is harder to replace. You just sew on a new button if you have BDU button fly pants.

Great pants, but needs to be button fly

I bought a pair of the coyote brown color pants in 60/40 ripstop and like them a lot. The coyote brown pants goes together well with my woodland shirt in 60/40 ripstop. My only complaint would be that I wished these were made with a button fly. I do not know why they would make a zipper pants when a button fly pants is more functional. If a zipper breaks you have to replace the whole zipper. If, a button falls off just sew a new one on.

Polyester/Cotton Blend Tactile pants

I bought a 32 waist. If it was not for the adjustable waist, it would have been too big for me. I usually wear a size 12 in women. (I do not like the low rise that is in style for women:hence, the reason for buying men. The crotch of the pants hang low. My husband also did not like the way the crotch fit. (We wear about the same size.) I like the huge pockets, but not the button enclosure for the pockets and waist. I liked the metal zipper. The tie cuff kept the pants leg out of the mud. They had too much cotton for the torrential rain that I was caught in so they stayed wet longer. My holster belt fit the loops well. The pants were not attractive, but seemed sturdy.

Nice pants!

Lightweight Poly cotton pants are good for the warm/hot months. Slip on some warm underwear underneath to keep warm in the winter. It's relatively durable and can handle some tough work (i.e. construction & landscaping). The front button is terribly sewn as it seems to tear easily. Will need to sew together soon! There are NO Drain holes in bellowed pockets and drawstring leg closures need to be replaced by cuffed leg bottoms. The pants are somewhat baggy in the legs but true to size. Can be worn casually. The adjustable waist bands on both left/right sides make the fit better though you still need to wear a belt. The Propper basic nylon belt works well though the buckle is somewhat curved instead of flat so it seems like the buckle is bulging out. A separate pocket is needed for smartphones. The front hand pockets are deep enough for most smartphones but not the overly larger ones. Washes well in warm water and doesn't appear to shrink though it does wrinkle a little so some ironing is needed. Hopefully the color will last and the pants will last a few years. Overall, a no-frills BDU pants at a more reasonable price.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: Propper BDU pants.

As of the time of writing this; I've owned my trousers for almost a year now. The specific model I purchased were the 60/40 Poly Cotton twill, size large, olive drab green. I will go over notable facets of the pants, discuss pros, cons and opinions; then I will finish this review with my closing statement. Material - the 60/40 poly cotton twill is a heavier weight material. These, in my experiences, have proven to be durable and quite resistant to moderate amounts of wear and tear (yard work, travelling through briars, mud and dirt, etc) Quality - The stitching and button attachments have proven to be some of the most solid which I have seen in military spec and surplus clothing; proving to be better than a few sets of issued clothing (here's looking at you, Greece.) Beyond the stitching; there are some quality control issues with the placement of items on the pants; namely the pockets. One of the cargo pockets, location on the thighs, is slightly out of spec. The bottom of it being non-parallel to the knee reinforcement. Would anyone notice this at first glance? No. Would this affect performance? Nah. Would this drive me nuts? Sometimes. My advice? If you want a pair of $25 pants that have perfect quality and are perfectly symmetrical; maybe you want to go to a wedding in BDUs, or, something, then I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Size/cut - These are made and sized to the standard U.S. specification for Battle Dress Uniforms; baggy and comfortable with plenty of storage space. These are combat uniforms; they're made for comfort, practicality and flexibility of movement. Will they work for professional attire? I wouldn't want to match them to a blazer. Will they suffice as work clothes? Yup. The large cargo pockets allow for relatively secure storage of items on your person... Just don't store any marbles in there, won't end well. If you wear a large; these will feel like an extra large in the U.S, or, an extra large for international buyers. In summary: these are a good pair of affordable pants. They will work quite well for environments where you want to use clothing for hard work without worrying about the absolute annihilation of a pair of $150 designer pants. Biggest benefit of these trousers are the storage space and comfort. Biggest cons are the quality control of the pocket placement. P.S. don't hide cookies in the pockets and leave them somewhere. Cats are envious. P.S.S Applogies to any Greeks out there about the above comment.

Baggy Everywhere!

Bought these because I wanted a low key pair of pant with some tactical functionality. But the seat was baggy, the legs are like boot cut western pants all the way to the crotch. Since I've already washed them I guess they'll be my cold weather pants . I did get them at good sale price so the price was right. Maybe one of the local tailors can fix them.
